Charley in Microsoft® Paint

I'm very sorry to say that Charley died on
April 3, 2008. It broke my heart!

I wrote this poem one week after his death:

Dear Father, thank You for precious Charley.
   His faithful love comforted me.
He added so much cheer to each day.
   I miss him so much since he had to go away.
Thank you that someday all my tears
   will be washed away. . .
in God's eternal day.
